People remember events. Very few remember how they actually felt at the time, and fewer still can say why the same feeling keeps returning. Mood Patterns exists for that gap: it is a personal mood journal that records a moment in a few seconds and, over months, turns those moments into a picture of what repeatedly affects you and what helps you come back.
It is deliberately not a tracker that wants a single score each day, not a therapy app, and not an assistant with opinions. It never tells you what to think about a reading. It reflects what you recorded, in the words you recorded it in, and leaves the conclusions to you.
The privacy is structural rather than promised. There is no account, no sign-in, no backend, no cloud sync and no AI, and the app makes no network requests at all. Every moment you save is written to your own iPhone and stays there. If you want a copy elsewhere, you export one yourself and decide where it goes.

Questions, problems and feature requests all go to the same place, and a person answers.
Mood Patterns is free and runs on iPhone. It is not on the App Store yet.
